Contributor Spotlight:

Emily Knocke • Kansas City, KS

Emily is an old woman living in a 23-year-old’s body in Kansas City. As a 4 on the Enneagram, Emily loves the smell and sound of rain, feeling all the feels, and eating way too much Annie’s Mac n Cheese. If you can discuss a book you’ve enjoyed over a cup of coffee, you and Emily could get along fine. She lived in Alicante, Spain for a semester abroad in college, so if you have any questions about southern Spain, she might be able to help! In the words of John Green, Emily is “too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness,” as you will see from her insta bio.

Kourtney Chumbley • Mt. Olive, NC

Kourtney spends the majority of her days answering to “Coach K.” She is the assistant tennis coach at the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina. She experiences different cultures through her players, as the majority of them are international students. The most important part of her day happens in the McDonalds drive-thru, where she retrieves her black coffee. She has a cute smile and certain distaste for rules and boundaries. She believes the world ought to be explored, and if there is a question, it is always possible to find a logical explanation; even if the only conclusion is faith.
